Saturdays head lines in the DBNJ - Workers protest at Sen. Lynn's office. The article is about more union members crying foul. They cry that it is just not fair for government(s) wanting to stop CBA. '' Just not fair ''. Fair is doing a days work for a days pay (like in the old days). Fair is being able to stand up for yourself to convince your employer what a good employee you are and why you should get a raise. What is not fair is some "Planation Owner'' (Union Bosses) taking money from the workers (slaves) so they can provide them with housing (money from employers) food, (money from employers) and anything else they ''' need ''' or should we say ''' want '''. That's what is not fair. In history it was called slavery - now it is called CBA or Unions. Whatever you want to call it it has made too many people dependant on others to carry the load instead of carry their fair share. Unions had their place in history - right next to the model T Ford.

I think your wrong. Unions make sure we get paid enough money to live on and that we don't worked too hard by the people with money. That would be slaves. Unions look out for the people. If you work then you want the union and if you dont work you dont care.

Well Mr. worknfish - you just don't get it. Read the DBNJ - todays edition. "House Bans Union Pay Deductions'. The liberals say it is trying to destroy the unions and the conservatives say it is giving the people the option to PAY the dues or not pay the dues and gives the people the choice to agree with how their dues are spent. So if you take the time and have the brains, to understand what it is doing, then maybe you will appreciate having the power to control how your money is spent instead of listening to one sided propoganda. If you support the unions then pay the dues it really is that easy. But for those who don't like mandatory deductions they now have an option and that is what FREE people have. Choices.

I get more from the union than I do from my work. They can take the money because they give me so much moire back. The unions work good for the people.
