Debary has a real nice restaurant on the river and it is named the Swamp House. Great view, nice travel trailer park, pool and marina. TERRIBLE RESTAURANT. I have tried for the entire 6 years of living here to make it one of my weekly stops but it just will not work and I am now going to stop trying. As of last night I noticed they have reduced the size of their menu from the last time we were there (about 10 months ago), the prices have gone up, quality down and service is completely non existent. Example: Had to seat ourselves, had to go get a menu, noticed prices up selection down. Settled on something easy, sandwich and wings. Wings came out wrong, wifes' sandwich did not come out at all. Finally canceled the dinner. Had to wait quite a while for the check and just as long to pay and get change. Change would have been $3.14 but the server put $3.00 on the table and walked away. It definitely was not worth staying around for the .14 cents but I, as a businessman, would have much rather made sure the customer was happy and gotten all their money back than to even have to consider what it is going to cost me in the long run. Do yourself a favor - try Genuine on the corner - better service, better prices, better quality and selection.
